Responsibilities:
– Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops
– Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and secure solar panel components
– Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure proper installation
– Perform electrical wiring and connect solar panels to the electrical system
– Conduct inspections and troubleshoot any issues with the solar panel system
– Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and safely
– Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Experience:
– Previous experience in solar panel installation is preferred but not required
– Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in solar installation
– Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring principles
– Ability to work at heights and on rooftops safely
– Understanding of high voltage and low voltage systems
Skills:
– Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for construction purposes
– Experience operating a forklift for material handling
– Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
– Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring and connections
– Familiarity with roof construction and mounting techniques for solar panels
– Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during installation
– Attention to detail to ensure accurate placement of solar panels
