Job Summary
As a Solar Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers. This role involves educating potential clients on the benefits of solar energy and guiding them through the sales process.
Duties
– Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends
– Engage in door-to-door sales activities to generate leads and promote solar products
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
– Utilize technical sales knowledge to explain the features and benefits of solar energy systems
– Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies
– Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales progress
– Fluency in Spanish is a plus for engaging with a diverse customer base
Qualifications
– Proven experience in sales, particularly in outside sales or solar sales
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Knowledge of solar energy systems and the renewable energy industry
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Familiarity with customer relationship management software like Salesforce would be beneficial
