Portland, OR. Systems Administrator
Responsible for a wide range of technical activities required for the operation and maintenance of the organization’s server, storage, and backup systems. Configures, installs, maintains, and upgrades server applications running on Linux and Windows Platform.
Reviews system software updates and identifies those that merit action. Tailors system software to maximize hardware functionality. Installs and tests new versions of system software and apply patches to keep it current and stable. Prepares and maintains operational documentation for system software. Reviews capacity, performance, availability, and other operational metrics and takes appropriate action to ensure corrective and proactive maintenance of storage and backup systems to support the requirement to protect and secure business information. Prepares and maintains operational procedures and provides technical expertise and appropriate information to the management. Provides reports and proposals for improvement to specialists, users and managers. Conducts tests of hardware and/or software using supplied test procedures and diagnostic tools. Develops installation procedures and standards and schedules installation work. Provides specialist guidance and advice to less experienced colleagues to ensure best use is made of available assets and to maintain or improve the installation service. Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs and takes into account target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems. Delivers technical visualization of proposed applications for approval by customer and execution by system developers. Translates logical designs into physical designs and produces detailed design documentation. Maps work to user specification and removes errors and deviations from specification to achieve user-friendly processes.
Support Database Upgrades from current version to the latest stable release.
Explore SSO (Single sign on) capabilities between two different Applications.
Automation Anywhere Administration, Support and Migrate Bots between environments.
Job Scheduling and Monitoring through Stone Branch and AppWorx Application.
Vulnerabilities like Log4J and other cyber security vulnerability mitigation and remedy.
Support and upgrade Applications Power Plan and Workforce Software to the latest stable release.
Rotate passwords annually for all the service accounts to be SOX compliance for audits.
Migration experience and identify the relevant services offered in Oracle cloud Infrastructure to build the Oracle Fusion ERP Application.
Implement and support OCI based instances and services which fits for the Oracle ERP Application.
Perform tasks associated with the OCI services like Instances, Storage, BICC, IDCS, OIC etc.
Support Upgrade of OIC Application from one version to another.
Assign users the required groups and help the security measures are applied to the Oracle cloud infrastructure.
Experience and Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or closely related field or foreign equivalent degree or combination of education and professional experience. 3 years of experience in the job offered and 3 years of experience in PeopleSoft and Database Support skills and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Experience may be gained concurrently after attainment of applicable degree.

Compensation Range:
$87,225.00 – $145,375.00
Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
