Pay Grade 23/hr – 25/hr

Position Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES – Performs any combination of (but not limited
to) the following duties according to specific department guidelines:
1. Issue tools and equipment to approved personnel while recording the issues of returns.
2. Monitor and update inventory min/max levels and record items distributed from tool crib.
3. Inspect and disposition returned tools and equipment for damage and send out for repair to the
appropriate vendor(s).
4. Log items being sent out for repair or replacement as well as when they are returned.
5. Perform inventory as required.
6. Perform necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
7. Perform general cleanup, clerical or maintenance work incidental to the operation of the tool crib.
8. Create Purchase Requisitions for department tooling and consumable needs.
9. Audit Weekly/Monthly Expenditures per departments consumption of goods.
10. Vendor manage for various items required in Fab/Weld, Paint and Assembly Departments
11. Work with vendors on cost reductions.
12. Work OT as needed
13. Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

  • Receives MRO (maintenance, repairs and operations) materials, including unloads truck, UPS, and/or vendor deliveries, verifies incoming shipment contents, quantity, and location
  • Assists customers with parts and records transaction; Assists with the processing of returns or repairs
  • Performs cycle counting and stock handling duties
  • Runs reports as directed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Computer skills
  • SAP system knowledge and experience preferred
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Good teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

High School diploma in equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

1. Knowledge of standard and nonstandard hand tools and power tools.
2. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
3. Ability to keep records and make mathematical computations accurately.
4. Skilled/ Knowledge in the following applications: SAP, Excel, Gmail and Google Spreadsheets.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

May be required to lift or carry products, parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights. (Frequently 5 25 pounds), (Occasionally 25 75 pounds), (Rarely greater than 75 pounds)
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
