The Opportunity
The Talent Acquisition (TA) and Onboarding Manager role has extensive collaboration across a multitude of stakeholders. This role ensures a high level of service delivery and operational excellence in the recruitment and onboarding space. As the TA and Onboarding Manager, this role is also accountable for the tools, processes and systems that enable for an effective and best in class recruitment process, hiring managers to find their ideal candidates and candidates to search and apply for our openings. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role supports all of our divisional companies and is responsible for the creation and the management of programs and policies that drive our recruitment and onboarding programs to make MAPS group a prefer employer in the communities in which we operate.

What you’ll do:
Talent Acquisition:
- Owns, oversees and operates the TA life cycle from start to finish.
- Optimize, standardize and streamline TA processes, end to end, to provide the best application and selection experience for our internal and external candidates.
- Build strong relationships with cross functional partners.
- Own projects and programs, define goals and create deliverables for all TA initiatives.
- Help identify new TA opportunities, leveraging data based on strategic goals, business needs and impact.
- Handles all assigned recruitment and selection activities in a highly urgent way with focus on meeting recruitment cycle goals.
- Manage the pre-employment process: preparation of offer, presentation to candidate, post-acceptance process, and new hires surveys.
- Ensures all TA communications, including internal communication, websites and job postings are current, accurate, and engaging.
- Responsible for advertising and scheduling employment events.
- Coordinates interview schedules with candidates, hiring managers, and interview team
- Manages travel and transportation arrangements for candidates.
- Responsible for developing new talent pools through the use of internal/external contacts and networking resources.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs as it relates to vacant positions, coordinate development of position descriptions and assignment of job descriptions.
- Works with Corporate HR and MAPS HR team to ensure we are competitive in the marketplace for total compensation packages for candidates.
- Works with hiring managers in all locations to train and develop them in interviewing to bring the most qualified candidates.
Onboarding:
- Responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the new hire onboarding program for all MAPS organizations.
- Collaborate with our admin and production leaders to ensure effective onboarding of our administrative new hires and all new production employees and temporary associates.
- Ensure all new hires receive a great onboarding experience.
- Oversee the quality and consistency of curriculum and delivery of new employee onboarding.
- Plan and coordinate instructional design and curriculum development, working with production trainers and buddies to achieve learning objectives.
- Maintain oversight of the administration of training needs assessments and analyze various data to identify and respond to training needs.
- Maintain working knowledge of best practices and trends in the field and plan/implement professional development activities to enhance the skills of trainers and buddies.
- Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives across organizational boundaries.
- Possesses a solid understanding of customer relationships and can communicate needs and wants across functional areas of a business to deliver customer-centric solutions.

- Uses interactions within the organization as an opportunity to teach skills.
- Paints a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action with the onboarding space.
What we need:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Communication, Marketing or other applicable fields highly preferred.
- At least 3 5 years of Human Resources and/or Recruitment experience required.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically proficiency with Word, Power Point and Excel is required.
- Strong technology skills and ability to effectively utilize online learning management systems (LMS) and HRIS systems.
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment with conflicting priorities
- Attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture/ think strategically.
- Ability to operate effectively, even when things are uncertain or unclear.
- Possesses the adaptability to understand different business cultures, and types of businesses, and customer segments.
