What to Expect
The Executive Assistant role at Tesla goes above and beyond the scope of a typical EA position. You will become the right hand and operational partner to the leadership team you support, tackling challenging objectives and propelling a group of senior leaders to push the limits of what’s possible as a team.
In your role, you will be exposed to, and increasingly over time participate in, business-critical initiatives and decisions. Enabled by Tesla’s culture of empowerment, you will constantly be engaged in identifying and executing opportunities to drive positive change in the organization, balancing organizational needs against practical constraints with creative solutions.
We are looking for a bright and eager professional who is seeking a rapid growth opportunity and a mission to positively change the world for generations to come. You will be supporting three separate Directors in our Energy business.
This role, along with the leaders it supports, is based in Palo Alto and is on-site full time. Occasionally, you’ll accompany leaders to various locations in the Bay Area or during travel when support is needed.

What Youll Do

  • Host and coordinate team meetings, including sourcing agenda topics and exercising judgment to assess team priorities
  • Staying current on ever-changing company policies and relevant resources for the team, helping to navigate and implement changes where necessary
  • Collaborate with IT, Workplace, HR, and other support organizations for equipment, facility, and other team needs
  • Identify items to be communicated to the team, determine appropriate audience, and facilitate efficient communication
  • Take notes during leadership team meetings, synthesize outcomes, and communicate action items
  • Expense administration, team travel booking, and event planning and coordination
  • Regularly evaluate executive priorities, adjust agendas, and keep appropriate stakeholders informed

What Youll Bring

  • 4+ years of experience as an executive assistant for Director or higher position(s)
  • Discretion in managing highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to professionally represent the senior leadership team with your actions and words, communicating clearly and concisely
  • Comfort supporting teams who are technically oriented, and facilitating meetings and initiatives that involve highly technical topics
  • Ability to multitask calmly and efficiently under pressure with shifting priorities and changing directi
  • Willingness to take feedback and incorporate it quickly
  • Fluency in Microsoft suite of workplace productivity tools, especially Outlook and Excel

Expected Compensation

$80,000 – $144,000/annual salary, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
