Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Renewable Energy Representative to join our team. As a Renewable Energy Representative, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our solar energy systems to residential and commercial customers. Your main responsibility will be to educate potential customers about the benefits of solar energy and guide them through the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and engage potential customers by generating leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, networking, and participation in industry events.
- Clearly communicate the financial and environmental advantages of solar energy, while guiding clients through available incentives, tax credits, and rebates.
- Present personalized solar proposals that address client needs, expertly handle questions or concerns, and negotiate favorable terms to close contracts.
- Work closely with the sales team to not only meet but exceed both individual and team sales targets, sharing innovative strategies and best practices.
- Build strong, long-term client relationships by offering outstanding customer service throughout the sales cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Basic Requirements
- A high school diploma is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Demonstrated success in sales, ideally within solar energy, renewable energy, or related industries.
- Familiarity with solar energy products, systems, and emerging trends in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively engage, influence, and educate potential customers.
- Proven ability to negotiate terms, overcome objections, and close deals to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation for site visits, meetings, and customer engagements.
