The Opportunity InCharge Energy is seeking a dynamic Regional Account Executive – SLED & Utilities to engage with our key clients in the State, Local, Education, Port, and Utility sectors in the Western US. This role is crucial for supporting our mission to reduce emissions through vehicle and fleet electrification. As a member of our sales team, you’ll lead the development and delivery of innovative solutions, including EV charging infrastructure, software, Charging as a Service (CaaS), solar, and battery storage. What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for SLED fleet customers
  • Establish and maintain strong, enduring relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and continued partnership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to fleet customers, delivering customized solutions tailored to their specific needs
  • Develop and implement EV charging solutions that incorporate hardware, fleet software, solar, and battery storage systems
  • Negotiate and close contracts, driving revenue growth and customer engagement
  • Guide customers on local, state, and federal incentives and grants
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to meet or exceed sales quotas
  • Utilize Salesforce for effective sales forecasting and customer relationship management

Your Experience and Capabilities

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of sales or project management experience, particularly with EV charging projects with SLED customers and/or utilities
  • Relevant industry experience in fleets, electric vehicles, solar, OEM sales and service, or a related field
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with senior management and maintaining thorough client and internal documentation
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments, including sales, marketing, engineering, product development, and operations, to develop superior customer solutions
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, adept at multitasking and thriving under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools
  • Willingness to travel 25% or more to meet business and client needs

US Salary Range

$80,000—$120,000 USD
