The Role:

The Project Manager is responsible for oversight and management of multiple projects, with a focus on safety, quality, cost controls, schedule, sub-contractors, and suppliers. Overall, as a Project Manager, your role is to lead the successful execution of solar and renewable energy projects from cradle to grave, ensuring that they are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans and strategies for the company and company’s clients
• Due diligence in pre bid site assessments, and risk analyses to optimize project outcomes.
• Manage all aspects of project execution, collaborate with engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost- effective project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and performance
• Build and lead high-performing project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, mentorship, support, excellence, and promoting professional development and growth.
• Work in unison with Safety and Quality to establish goals and expectations for projects and processes to manage them.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements throughout the project’s lifecycle.
• Prepare financial reports, reoccurring status meetings and forecasts for senior management and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to facilitate a smooth transition from construction to operation.
• Conduct final inspections and documentation to verify project completion and compliance with contractual requirements.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management
• 5 years working on construction projects
• Strong experience in solar PV systems
• Commissioning of substations
