Blue Ridge Power (BRP) is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our Project Controls team. The Senior Scheduler is expected to work with multiple project teams throughout the organization to create schedules for new projects, monitor and update schedules for ongoing projects, and be engaged with the project team to provide solutions for challenges that arise.

The Senior Scheduler will report directly to the Manager, Scheduling.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain schedules in Oracle’s Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Plan and track schedule resources in P6 software as well as provide updated resource plans.
  • Produce S-curves and Histograms driven by P6 data.
  • Continuously assess progress, compile data supplied by project stakeholders, and visit job sites to evaluate progress.
  • Prepare lookahead reports to aid construction planning and monthly client schedule narratives and other required deliverables.
  • Keep track of project changes and assess their impact on project completion including but not limited to time impact analysis.
  • Cooperate and collaborate with the Executive Management team.
  • Must be able to present schedule plans and results to executive management and client representatives.
  • Must exhibit leadership skills and guide scheduling best practices.

Must-Haves:

  • 4-6+ years of experience in building construction project schedules in Primavera P6.
  • Ability to understand the construction process and scope.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong work ethic, a high degree of detail orientation, and a sense of urgency.
  • Strong time-management skills with a proven ability to prioritize.
  • Positive attitude that embraces BRP’s core values of Collaboration, Ownership, Grit, and Creativity. 

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in the utility-scale solar/renewable energy industry.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Must possess a current and valid driver’s license is required.

Working Environment and Physical Demand:

  • This position can be remote, preferably in comfortable traveling distance to one of our BRP office locations in Asheville, or Fayetteville, NC.
  • This position will require up to 25% travel to our office located in Asheville, NC, and our project sites.
  • The candidate must be able to report to our corporate Asheville, NC Office and our project sites when needed.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required and needed.
  • Must possess reliable transportation.
  • The position works in an office environment.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to simultaneously balance many assignments.
  • Ability to work independently, raise issues, and propose solutions for the broader team.
  • Must be able to sit/stand at a desk and utilize a computer, for extended periods.
