As a crucial member of the organization, the EG4 Solar Field Service Engineer role assumes the vital role of training our Strategic Account network, so they are fully competent utilizing our products in all environments that are applicable to our suite of products. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of EG4 solar equipment.

A successful candidate must be able to:

  • Present course curriculum in a clear and concise method, that is easily absorbed by the end user.
  • Assist with Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to EG4 solar products
  • Adapt quickly to changes in course curriculum based on emerging products and regulations.
  • Deliver unparalleled customer service to Strategic Accounts, whether it be face-to-face, over the phone, or through email
  • Speak in front of audiences large and small. (not afraid to learn if limited in experience)
  • All other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of solar installation experience: Familiarity with full solar installations, wiring, and system configuration. Residential or Commercial.
  • Strong communication skills: Comfortable talking to customers, explaining technical concepts, hosting seminars and providing clear instructions.
  • Customer-focused mindset: Committed to delivering exceptional service and resolving customer issues promptly.
  • Willingness to travel: Field-based role with travel across the West Coast for on-site support.

  • This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting, computer work and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
