Location: Remote

Salary: $140,000 – $150,000 + bonus

Piper Maddox are currently partnered with one of the most successful renewable energy IPPs in the US as they expand their asset management team. With a pipeline of over 10GW across solar and storage this business are pushing the boundaries within he energy transition.

As a key part of their ever expanding team this role will have ownership over one of the largest renewables projects in the US. Working between the asset management and accounting function you will own the overall reporting and performance of the project.

What you will do:

• Oversee utility scale energy projects assessing performance across a variety of financials including, RIO, budgeting, and general accounting / reporting.
• Work cross functionally with senior stakeholders to ensure the consistent performance of the assets in operation.
• Perform monthly and quarterly reporting tasks and forecasting estimates.

What you will have:

• Ideally a background working for a renewable energy IPP, or development business focused on large scale renewable projects.
• Experience working autonomously with various stakeholders to oversee performance on highly valuable assets.
• Depth of experience within financial asset management for energy projects is a must.
• Fundamental understanding of accounting principles (particularly ASC842 / 606) is a nice to have.
