Summary:

The Treasury Analyst I is responsible for supporting the treasury department in managing the company’s cash flow, investments and financial risk. This role assists with daily cash management, financial reporting and analysis to ensure optimal utilization of the company’s financial resources. The Treasury Analyst I will work with various internal and external departments to help contribute with compliance related to the company’s financial resources.

Job Details:

  • Assist in monitoring daily cash, execute bank activities and supporting cash positioning, forecasting and reconciliation
  • Support the preparation of Weekly 13-Week and Annual forecasted cash flow requirements, helping to prepare daily and weekly cash files
  • Execute bank disbursement and collection instructions, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
  • Help create new payments file and ensure accurate rollover of formulas, balances, etc. monthly
  • Assist in executing electronic payments (ACH + WIRES + Foreign Currency trade/payments)
  • Support foreign currency market monitoring and trade execution
  • Support the oversight of the company’s investment portfolio, ensuring compliance with investment policies and objectives
  • Help maintain banking relationships and other financial institutions
  • Perform analysis to support banking service fees to improve costs
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
  • Assist in preparing treasury reports, including cash flow forecasts, investment performance and risk assessments
  • Assist with providing data and analysis to support insights and recommendations on treasury-related matters
  • Contribute to the improvement of treasury processes and implementation of best practices
  • Support compliance with financial regulations, treasury policies and procedures
  • Participate in treasury-related projects and initiatives to automate and integrate banking platforms with ERP/NetSuite
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, tax and other departments to support treasury activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field or equivalent
  • 0-2 years’ experience in treasury, accounting or finance (internships considered)
  • Basic understanding of cash management, financial risk management and investment strategies
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Familiarity with financial markets and instruments
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and draw meaningful insights
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and accountability
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
  • Proficiency in MS Office application; familiarity with accounting and ERP platforms (NetSuite) preferred
  • Basic knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
  • Interest in learning about Corporate Insurance programs and risk management
  • Remote opportunity in the greater Portland, OR or Denver, CO area with limited travel

Compensation for this position is commensurate with location, experience and relevant skills. The national Average Base Salary Range is $52,000-$67,000 . Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and personal performance.
