Summary:

The Commercial Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting and optimizing the various processes and activities that drive the commercial operations. This role is a key driver in ensuring that business functions such as sales, procurement, vendor management and project coordination are executed efficiently and effectively. The Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing critical support to achieve business objectives, enhance operational performance and ensure the seamless execution of commercial activities.

Job Details:

  • Partner with ASP vendors, including monitoring purchase order processing and ensure timely order fulfillment to support project timelines
  • Participate in the updates and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect best practices and ensure alignment
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure alignment and timely completion of tasks
  • Collect, analyze, and report on key operational metrics to help drive informed decision making and continuous improvement
  • Prepare vendor reports, forecasts, and performance analyses
  • Prepare regular reports on Authorized Service Provider (ASP) performance, vendor trends, and metric analyses
  • Assist in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including manage RFPs and bids
  • Support the planning and execution of commercial projects and initiatives
  • Monitor and report at a portfolio level on project orders, both inventory and labor, to ensure timely and accurate supply to the project site
  • Track and report on inventory metrics and supply chain performance, providing insights to enhance efficiency and reduce cost
  • Support the finance team in processing invoices and tracking expenses
  • Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting activities
  • Assist in ensuing compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining thorough documentation of commercial operations
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members, ensuring they are well-versed in commercial operations processes and systems
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in a commercial operation, project support, or similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to navigate and switch gears as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience with Customer Relationships Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presenting and listening) and effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Remote opportunity within the United States, with the willingness to travel as needed for business

Compensation for this position is commensurate with location, experience and relevant skills. The national Average Base Salary Range is $52,000-$67,000 . Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and personal performance.
