Our clients include Fortune 500 to smaller developers, tax equity investors, investment funds, project finance institutions of all types, utilities and municipalities, governmental agencies, law firms, and market advisors, among others. We specialize in technical, commercial, and environmental due diligence and are recognized nationally for our depth of experience in power, renewables, and storage project development. Luminate brings exceptionally strong commercial contractual insight and capabilities in risk allocation, complementing our technical expertise. We are highly focused, solution-oriented, and response-driven to meet our clients’ needs. As we grow, we’re looking for serious professionals who want to align with the best – are you one of them?

We Value: Integrity, Diligence, Service, Reliability

As the newest member of our team, you will provide advisory and independent engineering services for utility and commercial-scale energy projects. You have at least five years of experience in engineering design and commissioning of power and renewables projects, including high voltage infrastructure, and a deep understanding of electrical codes and regulations, including NEC, NESC, IEEE, and NETA testing standards. You have a talent for articulating complex technical issues in layman’s terms and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to develop the best possible solution. If you are looking for a new challenge with an opportunity to grow, let’s talk!

Value: Relationships, Collaboration, Growth

Spend your days:

  • Assisting with all aspects of the technical (and commercial) analysis of project development and financing of client’s grid technology systems
  • Working cross-functionally with developers, contractors, investors, lenders, governmental agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Applying knowledge of engineering design principles, layout optimization, and equipment procurement and commissioning to deliver high-quality consulting services in support of the project
  • Supporting internal and external clients as a subject matter expert on various power and energy projects (mostly renewables and energy storage) and grid technologies

Bring with you:

  • BS/MS in engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of technical consulting experience in power and energy project development. Extra points for an EE!
  • Advanced knowledge of NEC standards
  • Demonstrated experience in project development, including design, construction, and operations
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to distill technical issues and their impact on business decisions into non-technical language. Your technical writing is top-notch!
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and schedules simultaneously
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride of ownership

And you’ll enjoy:

  • Compensation $125,000 – $150,000 plus a nice suite of benefits
  • Opportunity for career development and growth
  • A committed team of professional colleagues driving toward a common goal
