Job Description:
The Director of Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our sales strategy within the commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable sector. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth, establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and lead a team to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth in the C&I renewable sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging a deep understanding of the market and industry trends.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals and providing guidance to achieve targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align strategies and drive successful outcomes.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and optimize sales performance.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to senior management.
- Negotiate and close contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
- Stay current with industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, origination, and development within the commercial and industrial renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of the C&I renewable energy market, including industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive dynamics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions based on insights.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders.
