VP of Origination & Energy Markets

Our Client, a leading renewable energy developer, is seeking a skilled professional to join their growing team and drive strategic initiatives. This individual will be responsible for shaping and implementing the company’s PPA and energy offtake agreement strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement power marketing strategies to maximize the revenue potential of the company’s renewable energy assets
• Secure PPAs and other offtake agreements
• Mitigate risks related to energy agreements
• Establish relationships with key utilities, corporate procurement, and contract personnel
• Lead contract negotiations with power purchasers

Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience negotiating and closing PPAs
• Network of corporate/utility contacts and brokers across the US
• Understanding of the energy markets and development process
• Bachelors degree
• Knowledge of wholesale power markets
