Job Position: Solar Installer

Reports to: Site Foreman

Purpose: Complete assigned tasks to ensure efficient completion of quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned activities to include assembly of racking, placement of solar modules, wire pulls, and wire management.
  • Assist in the performance of electrical testing to include IV curve tracing, ground grid testing, insulation resistance testing, and open- circuit voltage testing.
  • Perform quality checks as directed by the foreman.

Qualifications

  • This position requires OUT OF STATE travel for extended periods of time – Must be open to 100% travel.

  • Previous experience in construction, carpentry, cement, manufacturing, or similar setting (preferred).
  • Familiar with use of hand and power tools (preferred).

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time
  • Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.
  • Must be physically capable of manually digging & back-filling holes and trenches.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
