Chemours is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team! This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer at our Wilmington, DE location.

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to both the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This role requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills, the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and coordinating travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries for the CEO and CFO.
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO, CFO, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings, taking detailed minutes and following up on action items.
  • Serve as a point of contact between executives and other stakeholders ensuring timely and accurate flow of information between departments and executives.
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Draft and manage communication on behalf of the executives, including emails, letters, and reports.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic.
  • Support executive team in special projects, research, and data analysis as required.
  • Plan and organize executive meetings, events, and corporate functions.
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including supply management and coordination with facilities.
  • Identifies training opportunities for other Executive Assistants.

The Following Is Required For This Role

  • High School Diploma
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role supporting senior executives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office productivity tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and external partners.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and resourceful with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, Board members, external partners and other assistants.
  • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity by coping with change, making decisions without having the total picture and confidently handling risk.
  • Ability to respond and remain calm in a quickly changing and fast-paced work environment including discerning priorities and scheduling appropriately while being highly tactful and diplomatic.

$81,715.00 – $127,680.00

Factors considered in extending a compensation offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, and alignment with market data. The incentive pay is dependent on business results and individual performance and subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.
