Vice President, Energy M&A

Aurex Group is partnered with a Tier 1 Global Investment Fund seeking a VP/Director-level professional with Power and Renewable and/or Energy Infrastructure experience.

This opportunity would be with a lean team leading the investment and financial structuring of deals, as well as driving commercial strategy.

Experience within Energy sector is required.

Overview:

• Create and review financial models
• Direct experience in the renewables sector as role will play a critical role in investment analysis, financial due diligence, and help form part of the investment team.
• Ability to create and review financial models (DCF, etc)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced investment environment
• Experience within a renewables developer, investment banking, private equity
• BA / BS from an accredited institution in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a similarly quantitative / analytical field;
• Strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving ability and attention to detail;
• Ability to multitask various projects effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
• Strong fundamental understanding of finance, accounting and valuation principles;
• Demonstrated ability and experience developing and managing complex financial models;
