Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Provides leadership of Environmental Department staff in managing environmental compliance focusing on environmental sustainability, decarbonization, and climate regulation and policy issues, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and compliance strategy development. Department support to utility companies includes providing technical leadership and advancing collaboration across our utility companies in managing our GHG emissions inventories, agency permitting and reporting, supports emission reduction projects, and decarbonization planning and compliance strategies. Monitors and engages on decarbonization technology advancements. Develops strategies to minimize environmental risk and promotes a safe, positive, and respectful work environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must possess a working knowledge of marketing and energy concepts and principles at a level normally acquired through the completion of a four-year degree in business administration or marketing and
  • Three years related experience
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Seeks out and solicits new or conversion load customers within assigned territory. Prepares feasibility studies and works with the Manager of Energy Services to negotiate extensions and expedite the approval process.

2. Develops and maintains contacts with existing customers, local builders, developers, trade allies, businesses, economic and community development organizations and Chamber of Commerce groups.

3. Formulates and presents informational and sales programs to groups and public organizations concerning energy prices, utility issues and non-utility products and services.

4. Organizes and participates in homebuilder and other trade shows in assigned territory to educate and promote Company products, services and safety of natural gas and or electric.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior gas and/or electric utility experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
  • Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.

Offers for this position typically made between $69,380 to $86,730
