Description:
This position is located in Bend, OR. This is not a remote position.
The Solar Installer/ Warehouse Manager will play a dual role in our operations, responsible for both installing solar systems on residential properties and managing our warehouse operations. This unique position requires a hands-on approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in both environments.
Key Responsibilities
Solar Installer:
- Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential rooftops, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
- Conduct site assessments to determine installation feasibility and design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation.
- Collaborate with the installation team to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Educate customers on system operation and maintenance.
Warehouse Manager:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure timely restocking.
- Organize and optimize warehouse layout for efficient workflow.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and in working order.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols within the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Experience in solar installation and/or warehouse management preferred, not required.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to lift 50lbs regularly and work at heights.
- Valid drivers license with a good driving record.
- NABCEP certification is a plus.
