WHAT YOULL CONTRIBUTE TO KORE

The Production Technician is part of the design and fulfillment team that builds and delivers KOREs custom-engineered battery energy storage solutions. Work is based at our Waterbury, Vermont facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembly and manufacturing processes under the supervision of Production Lead.
  • Trained on all stations and can read all prints and schematics.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in production.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Involved in all aspects of battery energy storage system production, including electrical, mechanical, and controller fabrication.
  • Follow safety procedures and report any safety concerns to the Safety and Compliance Officer or Production Manager.
  • Participate in developing best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability.
  • Supports and contributes to cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated demonstrating ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and projects.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Electromechanical assembly experience working in a production environment.
  • Technical problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
  • Experience operating hand and power tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Must be self-motivated and a great team worker.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Standing for extended periods is common.
  • Hearing and vision within normal ranges, with or without corrective lenses or an assisted hearing device.
  • Some heavy lifting is expected; occasional exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force may be required.
  • Good manual dexterity is required for assembly and production work.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • The job is performed indoors in a traditional production setting.
