Under the direction of UGI Energy Services, LLC supervision, the incumbent will oversee the terminal inventory; complete daily and month end inventory reports; oversee pipeline operations; oversee loading of trucks; do maintenance and repairs in the terminal while operating a safe working environment. Assist with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of UGI Energy Services, LLC propane terminals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform daily LPG terminal operations.
- Maintain manuals for operating, maintenance, emergency, training, and safety.
- Take daily temperature, pressure and liquid level readings of the storage tanks and record.
- Complete a daily inventory report.
- Complete a month end inventory report.
- Oversee pipeline operations.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of LPG trucks.
- Load and unload LPG trucks
- Use and enter information in various software packages, include but not limited to: Microsoft products, SAP, People Connect, Concur, Dearman, ASW
- Including but not limited to, Perform facility, grounds maintenance, and equipment maintenance and
- repairs
- Assist in achieving the terminal operations expense goals.
- Follow all UGI Energy Services, LLC Safety policies and procedures.
- Follow all UGI Energy Services, LLC policies and procedures for the Sinking Spring and South Heidelberg facilities.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by UGI Energy Services supervision.
- Strong organizational skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Computer experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Professional, reliable, self-directing work habits
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS software
- Knowledge of SAP a plus
- The ability to understand and utilize all required software for this position.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment related to terminal functions. including vapor compressors, pumps, valves, automated equipment, etc.
- Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
- Be able to read and understand P&IDs, electrical drawings, mechanical drawings.
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to follow and enforce procedures.
- Experience working with regulated commodities.
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
