POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist to join our team, who will not only be responsible for managing overall ESS (Energy Storage Systems) operation, but will also be responsible for providing logistics operations support. The Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist will manage all operation duties related to the lifecycle of ESS logistics, acting as a liaison between our transportation providers, customers, and internal operations and sales teams. This position reports to the Director of SCM that the President of the Company may designate and will require travel of up to 20%. The candidate will be based out of our Irvine, California office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Under general supervision, the Logistics Specialist plans, directs, and maintains economical and efficient transportation services for ESS (Energy Storage Systems) throughout North America
  • Create new processes and suggest improvements to current processes to maximize operational efficiency
  • Supervise orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
  • Make the shipping orders and closely communicate with Q Cells warehouses to make sure the correct shipment is being ready
  • Monitor shipments daily and provide customers with up-to-date information regarding their shipments
  • Make system transactions for the asset and inventory movement throughout the Q Cells Warehouses
  • Arrange RMA shipment and manage returned products
  • Validate battery serial number for eligible returned batteries based on RMA data
  • Input the new battery shipment data on SAP interfaced data validation
  • Organize and make files for daily in & out report, daily inventory report
  • Maintain logs and records of each shipment on excel sheet
  • Analyze and interpret data; conduct basic research
  • Process physical inventory for ESS at warehouse sites with ESS inventory and asset
  • Other duties as directed by other members of management
  • Ad hoc reporting/project management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field with 3PL warehousing, transportation and account/order management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain
  • Bilingual Korean/English
  • Knowledge of transportation operational terms and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly

  • Ability to prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects, issues, and activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Experience in Manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP ERP software.
