Position DescriptionAs Director of Operations, you handle the day-to-day running of the Boston Re:Dish facility including end-to-end operations, drivers, and client deliveries. You will lead a team of one Assistant Manager and 4 hourly Operations Associates and 1 box truck Driver.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day to day operations of the Boston facility.
  • Foster a growth oriented, positive, and encouraging environment while keeping employees accountable to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Instill a culture in your team that the Quality of outgoing product is paramount.
  • Maintain Plant in a clean and orderly fashion and in an inspection ready condition.
  • Identify upcoming staff requirements and recruit, hire and train new hourly employees upon management approval.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory of chemicals, containers, laundry towers, laundry baskets, totes etc.
  • Must have experience managing OKR/KPI tracking and managing key operations figures in software and Excel.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and direction to staff that aligns with the companys business plan and overall strategic vision.
  • Work closely with client success team to ensure customers needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, ensure issues are dealt with in a timely manner and the VP is aware of issues and actions taken to resolve.

Skills and Qualifications:MUST have a track record of managing teams of hourly employees.

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, or related field
  • Exerience in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Mfg, Meal Kit Delivery a plus.
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team and motivate hourly direct reports.
  • Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  • A solid grasp of inventory management
  • Experience in logistics management and software
  • Be able to diagnose problems quickly and implement/train team on corrective actions
  • Managing multiple projects in a manner that focuses the team and drives results
  • 5-7+ years experience with progressive general management responsibilities in the physical product industry in a high-paced, rapid growth environment
  • An experienced problem solver, calm in stressful situations.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and think on their feet
  • Excitement to work in a fast moving, early-stage business, with frequent iteration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
