A Snapshot of Your Day

Provide prime customer interface and manage Long Term Program (LTP) Maintenance contracts for operating plant combustion turbines and other rotating equipment in the Andinas region within Latin America (RLA).

How Youll Make an Impact

  • Prepare planning meeting documents and facilitate planning meetings with the assigned customers to plan maintenance outages, implement technical improvements, product modifications, upgrades and other solutions to the plant.
  • Deliver the highest level of service to demanding customers by providing value through our services as we strive to continually increase customer satisfaction.
  • Work with the regional DSO (District Service Office) and regional Sales Manager for plant services, outages and issues.
  • Establish and identify LTP parts future demand, configuration, and fulfillment needs. Establish and control costing strategies while developing and executing logistic requirements within the LTP contracts.
  • Provide technical interface while increasing customer relationship up through customer headquarters operations personnel.
  • Keep customers advised of modifications affecting operation and maintenance of units.
  • Recommend and technically sell improvement and upgrade programs to increase the contracts financial results and future backlog.
  • With customer, plan, schedule, make recommendations and implement CT outages.
  • Identify and resolve warranty and commercial issues.
  • Ensure technical correspondence, operating history and configuration records are maintained.
  • Analyze, interpret and help resolve problems associated with forced outages.
  • Manage the contract parts ordering/delivery and repairs.
  • Manage LTP contract program financials and present financial status to LTP management each fiscal quarter.
  • Travel as needed to foster customer intimacy while planning.
  • Maintain Customer satisfaction while solving difficult commercial situations.

What You Bring

  • Professionals graduated from mechanical, industrial, electrical or related engineering careers.
  • Certification may be required in some areas such as Project Management Institute-PMP/IPMA.
  • Performs advanced areas of work for the professional field. Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently. Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems. Manages multi-discipline team as an integrator of products and solutions.
  • Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of area of specialization.
  • Demonstrates significant knowledge of organization’s business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
  • Ability to travel frequently to customer sites and internationally.
  • Advanced English level
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers
