We are looking to add a remote Sales Account Manager to be located near the California Central Valley area and cover California. You will be managing existing clients and developing new opportunities across California. You will liaise with Ceres Imaging’s local customer support team and global teams to ensure repeat business and the product management team regarding product usage, service, and development. Driving new business across crop types and geographies, with a relationship-based focus to build positive and lasting customer relationships.

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager with a strong agronomic background who understands how modern agtech works, in particular imaging, and can help our customers optimize their use of water, chemicals, and fertilizers for better yield outcomes. We offer on-target earnings of $140k with an uncapped commission structure, monthly employee stipends and home office setup support, cell phone and vehicle stipend, comprehensive health, dental, vision insurance, retirement savings plan, flexible PTO, and ongoing professional development. Key Responsibilities: Develop and grow positive relationships with our customers in the region through a demonstrated agronomic expertise Manage existing clients and develop new customers by driving sales across California Manage the sales pipeline to close deals Provide a consultative approach to the customer by tailoring the product and service Liaise with Ceres Imaging’s local customer support and global teams to ensure repeat business through high customer satisfaction Collaborate with Product Management regarding product usage, service, design, and development Grow existing customer base through expansion of existing products and the introduction of new products and features Skills for Success: Previous experience in the agriculture industry such as agronomy, crop science, ag technology, plant and soil health, and precision agriculture Ability to travel to meet with clients across the state (and beyond as required) Ag SaaS sales and solution selling experience and data management systems Strong networking and relationship-building abilities Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset Ability to work from home effectively Understanding of data and analytics solutions Project management experience is also a plus At Ceres Imaging: At Ceres, diversity is our strength.
