Our World Energy is looking to hire Project Managers (M3) to join our company!

Location: Hybrid (must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CO, NM, TX)

Reports to: Senior Manager, Project Management

Team: Project Management

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that solar installation projects are completed on time, from the sale to the PTO, by driving accountability across all involved departments. The focus is on facilitating cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving to deliver a seamless experience for homeowners and sales representatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Management and Execution (40%)

  • Oversee all phases of solar installation projects, ensuring timely completion from sale to PTO.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain close communication with homeowners, providing updates and managing expectations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration (25%)

  • Work with Account Managers, Sales Support, and Department Heads to align on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Facilitate regular pipeline and status calls to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Lead the integration of partner feedback into process improvements
  • Training and Development (15%)
  • Conduct training sessions for team members on best practices in project management and solar technology.
  • Mentor and coach junior project managers and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Technical Expertise and Problem-Solving (10%)

  • Lead discussions on redlines, pricing adjustments, and technical challenges to ensure project goals are met.
  • Leverage solar/technical expertise to read CADs and understand the implications of redlines on project timelines and costs.
  • Process Improvement and Reporting (10%)
  • Analyze project performance data to identify areas for improvement in processes and timelines.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project status, KPIs, and lessons learned to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the solar industry.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in working in the solar industry
  • Demonstrated experience in managing high-stakes partnerships and delivering successful outcomes in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Proven track record in strategic problem-solving, conflict resolution, and process improvement.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and technical teams.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Podio or similar).
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, including the ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.

Required Soft Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence and adaptability, especially in high-pressure situations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
