PROJECT MANAGER
FLEET ELECTRIFICATION
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing and leading all efforts regarding Fleet electrification, modernization, and alternative fuel adoption at Georgia Power Company. Focus areas include EV (Electric Vehicle) vehicle and associated alternative fuel equipment technology, EV market availability analysis, vehicle and equipment life cycle analysis and EV and alternative fuel vehicle deployment planning and implementation.
This position organizes, plans, and assists in the creation of EV and alternative fuel vehicle deployment strategy, guides deployment strategy implementation and directs project work activities; communicates project status to all roles and levels of project stakeholders; and provides specific performance feedback to the respective resource managers.
The Fleet Electrification project manager is accountable for planning and allocating resources, providing cost reports, monitoring progress, and keeping key stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. This position will help ensure Company provided electric transportation is specified and built to standards that supports the deployment of safe, reliable equipment that meets Georgia Power operator needs.
This position is responsible for coordinating information and resources to support the deployment of electric vehicle technology.
This position is responsible for the coordination of information and resources in support of the deployment of alternative fuel vehicle technology.
Develops and maintains communication links with project stakeholders, internal and external, and Fleet and corporate management.
The position is responsible for developing project work plans and managing the expectations, deliverables, and results of project resources supporting Fleet Operations.
