Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
– Install and maintain solar panels and related equipment on construction sites.
– Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with NEC and local building codes.
– Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
– Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, often in challenging weather conditions.
– Utilize hand tools and other specialized equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
– Collaborate with commercial electricians to ensure high-quality installations.
– Conduct routine inspections of installed systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
– Troubleshoot and repair solar panel systems as needed.
– Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
– Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
– Experience in the solar industry or a related field, such as construction or electrical work.
– Knowledge of NEC and local building codes.
– Experience with low-voltage systems and the ability to work safely around electrical equipment.
– Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics.
– Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
– Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools.
– Commercial electrician experience is highly desirable.
– Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
– Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour
