Role Description

Are you ready to build and lead a powerhouse team to help enable groundbreaking advancements in energy technology? As a member of the Engineering Finance function, you will be at the forefront of this transformation.

In this critical role, you will partner closely with our Engineers to forecast the trajectory of product cost. You will help develop repeatable frameworks to track and report on cost reduction initiatives, enabling operational rigor and key strategic decisions that accelerate our path toward identified cost targets.

If you are passionate about making a tangible impact on climate change and thrive in a fast-paced hardware manufacturing setting, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do:

  • Partner closely with Form Engineering teams to forecast the impact of planned product changes on landed material costs and capex investments; help set targets that are ambitious but achievable.

  • Establish and maintain robust templates to track, regularly report on, and drive continuous execution of engineering cost-reduction initiatives.

  • Develop exec-facing presentations that distill detailed analytics on the drivers of change in product cost forecast, into actionable insights for engineering teams.

  • Leverage commodity pricing and other supply chain data to develop detailed part-level material should-cost and vendor tooling capex estimates for newly designed parts.

  • Lead the development and management of opex & R&D capex budgets that align with product development and performance validation activities.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in Finance or consulting, preferably with exposure to hardware manufacturing settings and experience working with engineers

  • Deep analytical rigor and financial modeling skills; demonstrated ability to distill complex financial information into actionable insights for leadership.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate closely and form strong relationships with cross-functional business partners.

  • Demonstrated success in driving tangible impact and influencing within a broader organization.
