Lancium is dedicated to accelerating the energy transition. We create technologies and build infrastructure that balance and stabilize the power grid and catalyze increased renewables generation, while also delivering 100% green energy at the lowest costs to consumers in energy-intensive industries. While AI and HPC data center workloads, and industrial processes like green hydrogen electrolysis and ammonia production drive immense demand for energy, the current grid simply cannot support the growth, and cannot do it with clean energy at scale. The transition demands innovation, and if you want to be at the heart of this transformation and growth, read on!
Lancium is an energy technology and infrastructure company that enables low cost and fast-tracked access to 100% renewable resources via its strategically located portfolio of Clean Campuses and its Smart Response power orchestration software and solutions. We are backed by leading strategic and financial investors, have spent 6 years developing the infrastructure platform and are now rapidly accelerating the commercialization of our solutions into the market.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Lancium, you will be responsible for guiding and reviewing the conceptual and detailed engineering for the construction and (life cycle) operation of the portfolio of Lancium campuses in West Texas, and other locations in North America. This position is supporting the Lancium business model of providing Gigawatt sized power systems ( HV/MV Substations) on very large Land acreage, by implementing Power delivery and Control operations to world class Hyperscale Data Center companies that are integrating their operations and power systems on to Lancium sites. The company is accelerating into a period of high growth and there will be a large amount of “hands-on” work.
This individual will execute simultaneous parallel work in several sites development and construction cycle, integrating grid, battery storage, and solar generation into a common system, including behind-the-meter operations. New transmission system development will be part of the solutions. This work will often be accomplished in collaboration with critical suppliers and EPC contractors, and business partners. This is often accomplished by delivering solutions using proactive problem-solving skills, often in an environment of short deadlines and dynamic changes. The power delivery will operate in a Lancium environment of controllable load management, in compliance with grid operator (ERCOT) requirements.
