About Walmart Energy Transformation
The Walmart Energy Transformation team is a newly reimagined energy team that was created to ensure the team has the resources and internal positioning to deliver on Walmarts energy-related regenerative goals. The team now reports directly to the COO of Walmart US and the Chief Sustainability Officer.
We are a team of seasoned energy veterans dedicated to realizing Walmarts regenerative commitments and leveraging Walmarts platform to support the decarbonization of our customers, associates, communities, and suppliers. Because energy touches everything, we work across Walmart, particularly real estate, facilities, supply chain, network design, transportation, and customer experience. We have come from across Walmart, utilities, developers, banking, clean energy consulting, and environmental NGOs. We are innovators and change agents determined to make an impact. We are analytical and entrepreneurial; thoughtful and practical.
In the Manager, Retail Charging position, you will act as a Customer Success & Strategy Manager and play a critical role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience for Walmart’s growing retail electric vehicle (EV) charging network. You will be responsible for owning the overall customer care experience and for analyzing the customer experience and establishing feedback loops for continuous improvement. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Business Strategy and is based in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Youll make an impact by
Customer Care Process Ownership:
Drive coordination across key project stakeholders, including Contact Center project leaders and agents, external partners, and EV charging hardware providers to ensure seamless and reliable customer support
Regularly assess and report on performance against target key performance indicators by Walmart Contact Center and external vendor(s) to ensure goals are met or exceeded, and cooperate to drive improvement
Evaluate and own continuous improvement of customer support content holistically, ranging from the app experience to contact center training and resources
Develop and implement processes to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues
Customer Experience Analysis & Strategy Development:
Collect and analyze customer feedback from various sources, such as contact center call logs, Plugshare reviews, surveys, and social media.
Identify trends and areas for improvement, establish feedback loops through coordination with key stakeholders including tech, operations, contact center, product, and more, and oversee the implementation of experience improvements
Conduct analysis on specific customer segments and their experience on the network to inform future offerings and overall network strategy
What youll bring
5+ years of experience in designing, launching, and monitoring new programs
Data-driven, strong competency in analytics (Excel, Tableau, or others)
Effective communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint)
Proficiency with EV charging or energy domain knowledge is strongly desired
Customer-centric approach with a relentless passion to improve the charging experience
Confident in navigating ambiguity, a bias for action, solutions-oriented individual
Strong track record of succeeding in matrixed organizations and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple domains
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Background in consulting, analytics, or customer experience preferred
