Job Description

Location: Remote, with some travel to U.S. project sites

Compensation: $100K – $150K total package

Important Note: You must have recent experience in community solar, C&I, or distributed generation (DG) to be considered for this role.

Company Overview

The business is a fast-growing, PE backed IPP that owns and operates community solar assets in a number of states, with active developments across the US and counting.

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the planning, execution, and closeout of community solar construction projects across the U.S., ensuring they meet all technical, budgetary, and timeline requirements.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing community solar construction projects, with a proven ability to oversee all phases from pre-construction through commissioning. Expertise in contract negotiations, project scheduling, and quality control is essential to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget across various U.S. locations.

Project Managers will:

  • Oversee the end-to-end construction process for community solar projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage procurement to secure key suppliers and maintain competitive pricing.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams to keep projects on track.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures, conducting site inspections and resolving issues to ensure high standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on community solar or C&I.
