With a mission to expand access to affordable and sustainable energy, this company is rapidly growing its portfolio of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across the U.S.

As they enter a new phase of growth, they are seeking an experienced and driven VP of Finance to take the lead in shaping the company’s financial future. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, managing capital structure, and ensuring that funding is aligned with long-term goals. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the renewable energy sector, a strong track record of securing project finance, and a passion for scaling clean energy projects.

You will:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the organization.
• Oversee project finance, ensuring effective structuring and closing of deals for large-scale solar and storage developments.
• Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and equity partners to secure financing for ongoing and future renewable projects.
• Optimize capital structure and cash flow management, ensuring financial resources are effectively allocated to meet growth objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, operations, and legal teams to support financial decision-making.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, tax credits, and policy changes affecting renewable energy finance and incorporate them into the company’s financial strategy.

You must have:

• 10+ years of experience in finance, with a significant focus on renewable energy and project finance.
• A deep understanding of capital markets, project financing structures, and tax equity for large-scale solar and energy storage projects.
• Proven track record of managing capital raises, securing debt and equity financing for renewable energy projects.
• Strong leadership skills with experience leading finance teams and working cross-functionally in a high-growth environment.
• A passion for driving the clean energy transition and a mission-driven mindset to scale impactful renewable energy solutions.
