Senior Origination Manager

Carter Maddox is exclusively representing one of the fastest growing Solar and Energy Storage developers in the US market.

We are searching for a highly talented Origination Manager with direct experience at the Utility scale.

Responsibilities

• Originate utility scale solar and storage project development opportunities focussing on site control and evaluating overall project feasibility
• Identify local early-stage developers to acquire or co-develop on their projects
• Identify and organise the greenfield development of projects through identifying attractive interconnection points
• Undertake land acquisition activities to secure site control
• Conduct state and federal regulatory research to formulate a suitable market strategy including subsidies and power subscription policies
• Coordinate financial modelling to assess project economics

Requirements

• 3+ years of project origination experience
• A successful track record of negotiating commercial transactions with landowners, developers, and other relevant stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree required, Masters degree preferred but not required
• Experience in the Eastern and Central US markets preferred.
