The Installer Account Manager Position

Sunnova Energy is looking for an Installer Account Manager to oversee Installers fulfilling projects sold by our Direct Sales team. The Installer Account Manager leads our team to have successful relationships with our Installers. As the primary point of contact for their assigned Installers, the AM drives revenue for our business by growing the use of Sunnova products with our Installers, helping them to resolve issues from job assignment through getting the system in service. This position requires excellent communication skills and a “customer first” attitude as well as a technical solar battery background. Responsibilities

  • Accountable for and drive Installers to meet or exceed business targets as agreed in contract arrangements
  • Helps define dealer’s quarterly and annual goals; insures performance toward the targets
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves dealer issues using analytical skills and Salesforce Client Relationship Management
  • Delivers training and effective coaching to installer leadership teams
  • Advises Installers on sound business practices, such as maintaining financial statements, working capital management, and SG & A planning
  • Monitors progression of systems and troubleshoots issues; intervenes and drives results through influencing dealer behaviors

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS in engineering, business, marketing, communications, information technology or related degree OR equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales, account management, or related role
  • 5+ years’ solar PV and storage adaptive home technology solutions
  • 2+ years of routine use of Excel for analysis, and graphically communicating insights regarding data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce software experience
  • Residence in Eastern United States

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to create relationships with outside partners to effectively influence behavior required
  • Very strong organization and communication (both verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to adapt and work in an open, fast-paced and collaborative environment, both in-office and remotely required
  • Team player that behaves ethically, with highest degree of integrity at all times
  • Strong computer skills; including Microsoft, Office Suite
  • Proven use of analytical skills with understanding of financial concepts (IRR, ROI, etc.)
  • Ability to make insightful and relevant recommendations based on findings from data analytics; capable to gain command of data regarding assigned partners and workflow

Working Conditions

  • Minimum 30% Travel Time required

  • Extended periods of time working at computer workstation
  • Location: Remote in Eastern United States
  • Travel to onsite partners
