The Role:

As an MVT Engineer, you will apply your expertise in Electrical Engineering, Magnetics, and Power systems to conduct internal and customer-specific reviews, equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and troubleshoot transformers and components in the field
  • Apply industry standards (IEEE, NETA, NEC, UL) for testing and safety procedures
  • Analyze equipment problems and determine optimal functioning
  • Prepare detailed reports on tests, repairs, and maintenance
  • Collaborate with headquarters and OEMs on design improvements
  • Provide training to team members
  • Maintain strong client relationships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with liquid-filled and/or dry-type transformers
  • Experience in power factor, insulation resistance, and dissolved gas analysis testing
  • Solar/Battery Energy Storage industry experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Self-starter with a service-oriented mindset

Additional Details:

  • 50% travel required
  • Remote position (USA-based)
  • Full-time role
