Your Impact:

As the Senior Manager of Engineering, you will lead engineering operations, manage customer relationships, and drive continuous improvement within the telecom industry. This role involves training and ensuring the safety of a team of qualified engineers and technicians. You will focus on fostering collaboration and building strong relationships with both customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs).

Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining organizational alignment with the broader business to support the company’s KPIs. The role requires travel, both domestically and internationally.

Preferred location: Southeast Continental US, Florida

Core Responsibilities:

  • Actively and effectively communicate with customers and team members to ensure alignment and success.
  • Utilize internal project management systems and external reporting tools to keep customers, team members, and leadership informed.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the telecom industry, including Telco knowledge and industry trends.
  • Understand and adhere to Profit and Loss metrics, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
  • Be accountable for customer and revenue growth in assigned markets, focusing on both existing and new customer relationships.
  • Work closely with global team members to drive success across markets.
  • Focus on strong reporting skills and maintaining data integrity in internal and external processes.
  • Support and manage employees’ needs while maintaining performance metrics and KPIs for individuals.
  • Drive additional growth within current customers and attract new customers, comfortable with in-person meetings and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Ensure the safety of employees, customers, and stakeholders is a top priority.
  • Provide accurate financial feedback and forecasts to support business growth.

Note: Specific duties may evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in the telecom industry, with a focus on operations or management.
  • 3+ years in a management role with direct reports, demonstrating leadership and coaching skills.
  • Experience with US wireline customers (e.g., AT&T, Lumen, Frontier, Windstream); preferred experience working directly for a US wireline customer.
  • Degree in Engineering or related telecommunication field experience.
  • Strong understanding of fiber and copper design, with experience in Business-as-Usual (BAU) and fiber-to-the-home projects.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and make timely decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with departments and customers.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 Salary/DOE
