Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Lead and manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, from concept through deployment, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product management, design, engineering, operations, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, ensuring that design, development, and testing activities meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project demands, balancing workloads and priorities across teams.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all engineering activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking costs and ensuring that expenditures align with approved budgets.
  • Vendor Management: Work with third-party vendors and contractors as needed to support project execution, ensuring that deliverables meet quality and schedule requirements.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure that all engineering solutions meet customer requirements and expectations, delivering high-quality products that enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a program management role, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects, preferably in residential solar, battery storage, or EV charging.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy systems, including solar PV, battery storage technologies, and EV charging infrastructure.
  • PMP, PgMP, or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to solar, battery storage, and EV charging systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
