Role: Solar Business Development Manager

Location: United States (Remote)

Base Salary: Up to $110,000 (Based On Experience) + Commission

As a Solar Business Development Manager with our client, you will play a pivotal role in expanding their presence in the renewable energy sector. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual with experience in selling community-sized solar projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the community-sized solar sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their energy needs and proposing tailored solar solutions.
  • Lead negotiations for purchase power agreements (PPAs) and other relevant contracts.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in solar sales, with specific experience in selling community-sized solar projects.
  • Strong understanding of solar technology, financing options, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate purchase power agreements and other contracts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.
