A Snapshot of Your Day The day in the life of a commercial sales individual can be very dynamic. One day you might be taking part in a contract negotiation with a customer, and the next day you could be preparing a presentation for executive management for the same bid. While in another day you might be meeting with a project manager to review milestones in a payment schedule or engaging in discussions regarding financial securities or currency hedging. Each day brings its own set of opportunities, and it is up to you to drive Siemens Energy bids to a successful conclusion.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Drive customer focus within the organization by understanding the market drivers for the energy market and presenting this to the organization.
• Co-lead together with the Technical Sales Manager the bid strategy for complex projects. Deliver the solutions that best meet customer needs.
• Manage and support the overall bid process from a bidding decision until project handover while working together with various team members.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial areas of a contract including but not limited to cash flow, currency / hedging risks, financial security instruments, terms of payment, etc.
• Participate in customer negotiations.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years related experience in Finance / Commercial Sales / Commercial Project Management or related discipline.
• Advanced leadership, teamwork/collaboration, networking skills, strong communication and presentation skills at all organizational levels.
• Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments. Flexibility to travel.
