Your Role
As a Gensler Designer, you will collaborate with our design team to develop innovative and creative design solutions throughout all phases of our projects. You will be successful because you can clearly communicate design ideas in both 2D and 3D methods. What You Will Do
- Contribute to our architectural design process in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production
- Coordinate architectural design documents with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
- Create graphic presentations, 3d models and renderings, and design drawings
- Research and specify materials, building systems, and products
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or equivalent
- 0 – 5 years of related architectural project experience
- Proficiency in physical modeling and digital modeling using Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, and Revit
- Expert use of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required; especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwell and /or Net Zero Building certification.
- Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes
- State licensure and LEED accreditation a plus
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and parametric design software
- Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills

- The base salary will be estimated between $64,000 – $75,000 annually plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
Notice: At Gensler an unlicensed architectural Designer will have the job title of Technical Designer and operate in this capacity for alignment with internal programs, doing business with clients and compliance with industry and government regulations.
