As a Business Excellence/Process Improvement specialist you will be responsible for facilitating the project handover meetings, PACT workshops and lesson learned meetings. Maintain NCC and CAPA records, facilitated CAPAs, RCAs, and lessons learned, collected CAPA and NC data, analyzed and reported to the project team and management. Lead and participate in the LEAN manufacturing activities and the process improvement activities!
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Drive business excellence and continuous improvement initiatives and develop and supervise the progress of the LEAN Manufacturing Roadmap.
- Support creation and review of new/existent process flow/work instructions.
- Support departments in the preparation and conduction of the audit process.
- Evaluate and progress the timely completion of CAPA system activities, raised for non-conformances, potential non-conformances, and/or deviations, customer NCs, and complaints.
- Facilitates the investigation process to ensure that root causes corrective, and preventative actions are appropriate and implement effective actions to reduce the occurrence/recurrence and support process owners in the evaluation of action items.
- Drive regular cross-functional meetings to ensure CAPA’s are being reviewed and addressed in a timely fashion per the company goals and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains the effectiveness of the CAPA system records to ensure audit readiness for internal and external quality system audits within the area.
- Lead customer CAPA actions and provide additional confidence that investigations are initiated and completed in a complete, concise, and timely manner; and that viable corrective actions are identified and implemented to address any non-conformances.
- Ensure all Corrective and Preventative actions (CAPAs) are documented per company procedure and advise teams on how to complete the process.
- Ensure Local CAPA and NCC procedures are maintained to current and reflect the latest Global requirements.
- Provide QMS metrics, trend analysis, and reports to identify key process improvements for CAPA.
- Implement and or participate in lean activities and improvement projects.
- Facilitate the creation of summarized lessons learned, register output properly, and distribute information across the organization. Lead and keep the Lessons learned system accessible to the whole organization.
- Facilitate PACT workshop meetings together with Project Managers.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field with 5 years or more experience in industries working in Quality Assurance/Quality Compliance roles.
- Experience in CAPA tracking and trending is desirable with the ability to engage and inspire others!
- Ability to participate in groups resolving active quality issues or process improvement activities.
- Ability to document, understand, and facilitate the resolution of sophisticated technical issues in partnership with functional owners.
- Proven track record in project management, adept at following and analyzing data, and leading multiple projects concurrently to meet established targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and strong experience with assembling, analyzing, and summarizing quantitative data.
- Critical thinking mentality – fresh ideas and challenge system for a better way of performing activities.
- Strong leadership skills are vital to lead multidisciplinary teams indirectly.
- Strong root cause analysis skills are desired and Lean Manufacturing and improvement projects experience.
- Strong understanding of Management of Change.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sap, Jira, and SharePoint knowledge.
- Knowledge of Industrial turbines, compressors, and their operating ancillary system is a plus.
