Private Equity Associate – Energy

Aurex Group is partnered with a renewable energy and decarbonization-focused Private Equity firm looking for an Associate-level or Senior Associate level professional to join their team.

Natural Resources or Infrastructure experience is a requirement.

Overview:

• Create and review financial models in support of deal execution
• This person will play a critical role in investment analysis, financial due diligence, and help form part of the investment team.
• Ability to create and review financial models
• Ability to work in a fast-paced investment environment
• Investment banking, private equity, corporate development or corporate investment experience is desirable
• BA / BS from an accredited institution in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a similarly quantitative / analytical field;
• Strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving ability and attention to detail;
• Ability to multitask various projects effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
• Strong fundamental understanding of finance, accounting and valuation principles;
• Demonstrated ability and experience developing and managing complex financial models;
