Job Description

Company:

Our client is a Private Equity Manager investing across utility scale power generation in wind, solar, and gas-fired projects, distributed power generation, energy transition, and critical transportation and storage infrastructure assets.

From 2003 through 2014, this team deployed and realized investments in more than 20 energy infrastructure related transactions on behalf of its investing partners — Bear Stearns and J.P. Morgan. Beginning in 2015, our client launched its first independent private equity fund, Fund II, followed by Fund III in 2019. Our client has sponsored nearly $2 billion of equity capital investments since inception.

Our client targets opportunities with potential for growth in operating margin through the implementation of the areas of expertise it maintains in house, without the use of operating partners. They rely heavily on its ability to self-source investments using a proprietary network of relationships developed over the past 30 years of extensive presence in North and South America.

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a candidate to help assist in a potential sale within their portfolio and oversee the sell side process of this exit. This candidate will be working closely with the Private Equity Manager on running the portfolio’s finance model and capex until the time of the potential sale where this candidate will be answering Q&A’s of potential bidders, making sure the portfolio company is easily transferable to a VDR, and managing the entire process at the company level.

Once this sale is completed, the candidate will be working across all other portfolio companies for the Private Equity Manager in a portfolio management function.
