Job Summary:
Join a leading company in clean energy as a Senior Development Engineering Manager within their Renewable & Clean Power team. You’ll be a key player in developing utility-scale solar, onshore wind, and battery storage projects across the U.S.
Responsibilities:

Site Selection: Evaluate potential sites and provide technical feasibility recommendations.

Project Design: Create preliminary layouts, optimize system configurations, and develop energy yield assessments.

Financial Modeling: Provide technical inputs for financial models, including energy production forecasts and cost estimates.

Consultant Management: Oversee technical consultants for environmental, permitting, and engineering needs.

Due Diligence: Support project acquisitions by reviewing data and coordinating technical evaluations.

Project Finance: Manage the Independent Engineer process during financial close and ensure report delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement: Lead technical discussions with landowners, officials, and potential offtakers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in infrastructure and renewable energy design, with a focus on solar and wind.
- Experience working with developers or independent power producers (IPPs).
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ArcGIS, PVSyst, pvDesign, and PVCase preferred.
Willingness to travel is essential.
