Overview of Position:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Electrician to join our team. The Solar Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar energy systems for both residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of solar energy principles, electrical systems, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Install solar energy systems, including panels, inverters, and mounting systems.
- Perform electrical wiring and conduit installations for solar energy systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair solar energy systems as needed.
- Ensure all installations meet safety and code requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Keep accurate records of all work completed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent training in electrical or solar installation.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in solar or electrical installation.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and structural blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. No DUIs.
- Not required but a PLUS if you have any MPU knowledge & experience
