Senior Investment Analyst

My client is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join there Energy Investment Banking group in Houston, TX. This position offers significant exposure to M&A advisory and capital raising across multiple sub-sectors, including upstream, midstream, oilfield services, and energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver client presentations, collaborating with senior bankers and clients.
• Build complex financial models and perform valuation analyses.
• Draft key transaction documents, including management presentations, pitchbooks, and fairness opinions.
• Conduct due diligence, prepare information memoranda, and support M&A and capital raising efforts.
• Engage in strategic research to identify sector and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, with strong modelling, valuation, and client exposure skills.
• Experience at middle market, top-tier boutique, or bulge bracket firms preferred.
• Experience in traditional or renewable energy investment banking is required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Commitment to transition to an Associate role within 1-2 years, based on performance and experience.
